These days, it seems as though every service provider wants customer feedback. The IRS is no different. As part of its 2023 Strategic Operating Plan, the agency is updating the notices and letters it sends taxpayers. It’s asking people who’ve recently received these communications to suggest changes that would make them easier to understand and respond to. The initial deadline for comments was Wednesday, Aug. 23. But the IRS welcomes feedback after that date because it plans to update notices and letters on an ongoing basis. You can weigh in by emailing wi.otc.cam@irs.gov. Include the name of the notice or letter, describe your experience with it and suggest specific improvements.
