Can you claim the Credit for Other Dependents?

Do you have a dependent who doesn’t qualify for the Child Tax Credit? If so, you may be able to claim the Credit for Other Dependents, even if you also claim the Child and Dependent Care Credit and the Earned Income Credit. A maximum credit of $500 can be claimed per dependent of any age if they have a Social Security number or Individual Tax ID number. You may also claim dependent parents or other qualifying relatives you support, and other eligible dependents who live with you but aren’t related to you. This credit begins to phase out for taxpayers with income over $200,000, or $400,000 for married couples filing jointly. Other conditions also apply. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/3LbCUVy
