Student Loan Payment pause extended

A student loan payment pause is extended through June 2023. On Nov. 22, President Biden announced that the U.S. Dept. of Education is extending the pause on student loan payments while Biden’s student loan relief plan is on hold following court rulings. The Biden Administration is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to take up the matter and lift a lower court ruling that blocked the program. The pause affects student loan repayments, interest and collections. This means any wage garnishments related to student loan debt will continue to be postponed until June 30, 2023 (payments resume 60 days after this date). For more details: https://bit.ly/3u79Ep0
